FS: 1982 CD Marine Blue/Palomino - Excellent - 125K miles

1982 Mercedes Benz CD Turbo Diesel - Legendary classic style coupled with amazing reliability, these are the cars that are known for going over 500K miles! This particularly clean example has only 125K miles, is finished in beautiful Marine Blue (MB color code 940) on Palomino interior, a stunning color combo! This 123 series coupe was the first year Mercedes put their renowned Turbo charger on their already fantastic diesel coupe which caused the car to become fun to drive, charging up steep hills, this particular example drives exceptionally well. The suspension has just been completely gone through with both upper and lower control arm bushings & new tie end rods, this on a set of brand NEW high end tires, a pleasure to drive and easy on the eyes! As you can see from the photos even the engine has been kept clean, this MB has been well loved, serviced, and garaged, its entire life. All the inside panels are in excellent shape, even the wood inlays are near mint. There is NO rust anywhere on the car and besides tiny rock chips the ALL ORIGINAL paint still shines nicely, amazing for a 30 year old car! The 5 cylinder Mercedes diesel engine is known as the most reliable engine Mercedes has ever built, there are many examples still on the road that have over 400K miles, which in itself is amazing. This car is a good candidate for a bio diesel, run it on vegetable oil or waste oil from restaurants. That’s not been done as of yet with this car but it certainly could be done. Included is an updated Alpine tuner/CD player & amplifier with XM-radio and ipod cable. The carpets are clean, the seats show no wear which is a testament to how this car has been cared for. Please look closely at the photos they can explain the car better than I can with words. This car will not disappoint.
