Very nice euro wagon....I like it a lot! But I wonder if the engine work was done professional or out of his garage? This is a late 1979 production.....so it might explain some of the weirdness I see....extra wiring harness I don't understand, funky glow plug relay, strange air cleaner, injection pump shock, type mW injection pump instead of the m...ada deleted....its super nice but for sure should have an inspection....in Utah....think that means salt and snow....

Lots of cobbled home repairs there it looks like to me. Wrong hoses etc. The valve cover vent is not going to the intake so it must have loads of blowby.

that looks like the setup that was in my 240, especially if its a NA, with the vent running down to the catch can right below and in front of the air cleaner, then ported into the intake from there, and drain separate.
