Craigslist ad can be viewed here: 1987 Mercedes 300SDL Diesel!! Mechanic's Special!!

Car is located 35 miles SE of Des Moines, Iowa.

I have a truck and flat bed trailer (unless it sells as well) so I would be willing to help transport the car or meet someone somewhere half way or whatever. I would have to be sure you are going to take the car, I really don't want to transport it somewhere just for someone to 'Look'.

Also possibly interested in trades, doesn't have to be a Mercedes or a diesel. I don't need any more junk, but let me know what you may have.

Fox bodied Mustang or misc parts for such, John Deere lawn equipment, especially snowblowers, cash and combination of something else, things that go bang. Not really into bikes or ATV's although I have several friends that are so still maybe work something out.

I hate to give up on this car, but I have spent quite a bit of time and money on it and I think I am burned out on it more than anything else. Make me an offer, all I can do is say no.

Well, I no longer have access to a trailer, it belonged to my father-in-law and he sold it. So I can no longer offer to be of assistance in transportation.
I am going to give the car another week, if after that time no one comes forth as interested in the entire car as a whole I may decide go ahead and start parting it out.

I already have someone interested in the injection pump.

I also notice my craigslist link no longer works, I will try to fix it later, or if you are interested I'm sure doing a search on the Des Moines craigslist will hook you up to the ad.

Pity not in CA as I have a couple 1991 5.0 Fox body Mustangs for trade, both LX 5.0L convertibles one clean title rolling chassis with decent top, and a complete, salvage titled driver.

My wife tells me I don't need any more fixer uppers, we need to remodel a bathroom instead. I hate it when she is right. I have removed it off the barter section of Craigslist, put it back in the cars for sale section, hopefully someone will offer cash.

I have decided to list it on ebay within the next couple weeks, things need to slow down a little first, been crazy busy lately for some reason.
