Is this a good deal? 1995 Mercedes E320 - Mint - $3000

I am considering going to pick this car up this afternoon -- and can't decide if it's a steal or a mediocre deal. I think I will know more after seeing it and closely looking through service records. I either need you guys to talk me out of it, or to tell me how great of a deal this is! Thanks for your help making a decision. I think this will replace my 1983 240D -- will post on ebay next week if I pick up the E320.

Beautiful, one-owner, one of a kind 1994 Mercedes E320 in absolute mint condition!!
You must see this car to truly believe it. Car was purchased new in 1994 at Crown Mercedes
in Hoover, AL. The elderly couple (friends from Church) decided to part with this car due to
health reasons and being pretty much unable to drive any longer. All service work has been
performed and documented at the above mentioned Dealer and in more recent years at the
Mercedes Doctor in Trussville, Al. and are all saved in a nice folder. The car has 135,000 actual
miles, has been garage kept since '94, and has never spent a night outside in 20 years. The ash
tray has never been used...even for paper or trash!! Let me tell you this....I'm retired, and worked
at dealers for over 35 years here in Birmingham and I have never in my life seen a nicer twenty
year old car..period! Exterior, Interior, engine compartment, trunk area....all absolutely brand new.
Car is loaded with all the typical Mercedes goodies....Just a one of a kind find. Look at the pics and
imagine a car one-hundred times nicer....That's this car!!! $3000.00 Cash only....No trades and not a penny less.
Not sure if this link will work or not, but will try....
Beautiful 1994 Mercedes E320 One Owner- Mint Condition!!!

Run, don't walk to that car with cash in your hand. Plus, with that color it will NEVER be stolen.

I'm having a hard time understand what you are saying hah. I assume you mean run away, not "run, don't walk, to it".. and that the color is so horrible it could never be a considered a steal?

Thanks for the clarification. I'm still iffy, but hopefully when I see it I will know if it feels right or not. I'm hoping it has had some of the big stuff replaced in recent years, like throttle actuator and evaporator and head gasket -- I certainly don't want to invest a lot in it. I wish it was a diesel, but I can handle gasoline since it's not my DD.

Yes, I did! Not sure why they didn't edit the photos before uploading them (or maybe they did? ).

Well, if you pass on it let me know!

However nice it looks, I wouldn't be surprised if none of the big ticket items have been done on the car.
Make sure to thoroughly inspect/drive the car or pay for a PPI if your serious about buying it.

Hog's right. Lovely car and I meant run to buy it. But that first upload shocked me with its color. Did you know there are 7 (I think) shades of green for the 124? I thought maybe you had an eighth.

Now that's a nice car, nice to see one that's a different color combo, I like the really different cladding shade too.
