Good:

• Engine and tranny in really good shape
• Car starts and runs well
• New tires
• New spark plugs
• No harness issues
• Brand new battery

Bad:

• Tear in passenger seat
• SRS light on
• Blower does not function - AC and heater function - when driving, depending on the set temperature, the vents blow cold air or hot air). Will try & fix this before sale. AC blew really cold before blower quit.
• Tensioner may need replacement
  Both rear windows do not operate.

I am motivated to sell. Trying to sell by the end of this month. I would rather have this car go to someone on this forum.

Asking: $2250 OBO (make me a reasonable offer) - Now - $600.

I've been trying to find a decent 400E for a few years without rust. Might PM you. If I can swing getting it down to PA.

It's been a Texas car all along and has no rust.

Was driving the car today and one of the rubber fuel hoses connecting to either the fuel pump or fuel filter sprung a leak. Parked the car. Don't have time to fix it.

Final price: $600.

Car needs to be towed.

I'll hold the car until the end of this week. If it doesn't sell, I'll donate it some charitable organization.

Added more pictures. Car has crack free dash, wood in good shape, excellent engine and trans and no rust.

If this was in Boise, I'd already be on your doorstep. Sigh...

Could be a good entree into the W124 / M119 world for a current diesel owner......

If I only had a way to get the car here...

You could probably get in transported for ~$800 or so via open carrier. If it had ASR and was a different color combo, I'd seriously consider it.

For nor'east folks, it would be worth every penny to get a rust-free car. If you've never owned one, you'd be shocked at the difference underneath.

If I only had the space for another Merc... I'm pushing it with the three I have now.

In fort worth now....doubt I can check this on the plane though...this is a steal for someone with a little bit of time!
