Unhappy 1983 300td

Located in Acworth, NH

Was Vstech's car.

Spent most of it's time NOT in the rust belt. Body is in good shape. I have many new parts on it. Total front end rebuild. Brakes. Rear hydraulics. Newer tires.
Around 200,000 miles.

Not running currently. Not quite sure what the problem is. Runs ragged, very low power. Not sure if it is fuel related, but probably, seeing it has a veg oil kit.

In my repair attempts and test drives, I neglected to shut the hood. It flew up and busted the windshield.

Falling on hard times and I have no time to repair. Make an offer!

PM for phone.

Pics are from August 2014. That's the last time it was on the road. Been under a tarp since.

ytmtnman, sorry to hear things aren't going great. I have been there so I get it, pretty much.

I know someone who might be interested in this car.

Can you tell me more about the WVO system? Two tanks? Heat? Was it a brand name system or a homemade one?

Do you know how many miles it was run with the WVO system in place?

Does it have enough power to be driven onto a transport truck or a trailer?

We are a fair ways away, up in Canada, so I can't really drop by to look at it.

Thanks

2 tank heated greasecar system, additional flat plate heat exchanger, with copilot and fuel pressure guage . Copilot stopped switching valves so I added a manual switch and use the copilot to monitor temps.

About 20k on grease.

It might not have enough power to drive onto a flatbed, but I have other means to load it. Tractor, come along, etc.

I see it's still here. Do you have pics posted online anywhere? Would like to see more pics before making another trek to get a vehicle. The last trek didn't pan out too well. You're 300 miles closer at least.

Oh no dude! Which one is it, the white wagon I've driven?! What will you ask for it and can you deliver it to my brother in Indiana who will keep it for me when I'm home from Scotland?!

Ummm. She runs great. But the starter or flywheel needs to be replaced. Love/Hate. I'm torn. I really don't have the time for her. I would certainly sell now. Make an offer!
