Your Beautiful Benz

Today is Friday, October 12th, and I just saw your post. I would be so grateful to have your baby, but I'm in California. But I have dear friends who live in New Hampshire that could really use a safe good car. Their names are Kevin & Lisa, and he has to drive her to an adjacent state for cancer treatment every few months or so. If your vehicle is still available, they are a lot closer than I am and would be just as grateful for such a nice safe car. In the event you still have it, I'll go ahead and email Kevin right now and look for your response, and we'll go from there. Thank you cmb -

UPDATE

The car is gone, she went away with Carson to find a new home where she will get the care and attention she deserves.

Indeed. I was very happy to see her off to a new home where all her finest qualities will be appreciated.
My career took a turn a couple years ago which precluded me from having the time to spend on the old girl, and also requires repeated trips to the city and airport with long periods of being parked. The SD just wasn't the car for the job, especially the trips into NYC...

too many good parts to send to the crusher, but i am in greater need of a solid daily-driver than projects.

my body-work fu is weak, otherwise i'd be tempted to hold on to it

feel free to send any interest & offers my way
