1987 300D Virginia $800 OBO

I have a 1987 300D up for sale. I've done a bit of work on it but don't have the time to keep up with it and give the car the attention it needs. Hopefully someone on here will have the time and knowledge to properly fix this beast up (or use it for parts).

Pictures: https://imgur.com/a/1GXmGyJ

It currently will NOT pass Virginia state inspection for the following reasons:

-Electrical fault in the front right blinker (have tested relay, and tried to trace wire to find a break but, again, don't have the time to keep fixing it up)
-third brake light doesn't exist (previous owner had a massive subwoofer installed right underneath the light and it destroyed the fixture..) just needs the fixture to snap into place
-Parking break needs to be adjusted/tightened (pads may need replacing)

I have recently:

-Replaced rotting vacuum lines under hood
-EGR delete
-Injector nozzle rebuild (I mistakenly used the Bosch India nozzles) however i still have the injector pop tester kit from Mercedes Source and will include it with the car so another BETTER injector job will be easy for someone with experience (also ran diesel purge afterwords and WOW that stuff is awesome!)

-Just refinished most of the center console wood pieces (forgot the ash tray)
-new fuel filters
-new power steering pump filter
-New bilstein front shocks and shock mounts
-replaced serp belt and idler pully

Car has 456k miles on it.
I'm pretty sure the front coil springs are original and need to be replaced (go around a corner too fast or hit too big of a bump and the tires rub). I have a number of odds and ends in spare parts as well including:

New Parts:
Voltage regulator
Both fuel filters
Thermostat
Oil Pan Gasket

Other parts:
Two belts
Small assortment of light lenses
Assortment of bulbs
Review mirror
Rear decals
Gauge cluster (never tested)
Ecm (maybe tcm, not sure)

Any questions are welcome!

Little bit of a rough idle but once you get up in RPM a bit it smooths out quite nicely. I'm pretty sure it's from crummy injector nozzles. If I had the time I would rebuild them again with Monark nozzles and im almost certain the problem would disappear. When I ran the diesel purge through it it sounded incredibly smooth and quiet. Wish I could run that stuff as an every day fuel!

It’s not a bad looking car for half a million miles. The interior is really clean. I’d definitely buy it if I was in the position of driving out there and getting it and I could drive it home.

I hope someone gives it the love. I would.

Register it as an antique in VA. Then you can use it while you fix it.
