WTB-2005-06 e320 cdi

Looking for a lower priced cdi
Mileage is not a huge concern but must be free from injector issues. Just got back from looking at a very nice one but didn’t buy it . Look at the picture and guess why🤮

Girlfriend just got a new car so our 2006 E320CDI is for sale.

Black/Black with a decent number of options. 252k. Tons of receipts, I've owned for 4+ years and 100k miles. Got it from another forum Member who bought it CPO, afaik I am the third owner.

Some decent ticket items like a brand new dealer turbocharger the day I bought it for $1600, genuine glow plug relay and plugs, driveshaft was just rebuilt, etc. SBC pump has been done in the last 100k but I guess that's sort of irrelevant anymore as if you have any problems in the next 12 years they're not your problem.

Looking for $5,000 in Columbus, Ohio 43224.

Price police, please don't bother sending me the 90k mile car online for under $5,000 that has one of the worst cases of black death I've seen on all 6 cylinders and litany of CELs. My car has high miles but its a documented turn-key car.

read alot about the newer diesel oils ruining timing chains.Missing some chemicals for emissions, but really the good oil does not hurt it. Some are using marine diesel motor oils

Just curious, how easy it is to remove the cover and take a peek/picture on the black death? I am in the market for a newer diesel. Thanks.

Real easy but it does take a tool and I don't remember which one right now. I want to say it is a small allen head wrench.

It's a smaller torx bit on the 3 CDI's I've wrenched on. Takes about 2 minutes to remove the panels that cover the intake manifold and injectors.

AH- Clearly didn't realize what was happening did they? I can't imagine the stench that would create. I had one injector leaking and I could smell the car from 50 feet away.
