I have an '02 E320 wagon that I bot about 2 years ago with about 145k on the clock. It had been neglected for about 5 years by a young girl and judging from the interior, she had a couple of messy young ones. It lurched and wheezed onto the trailer to bring it home. The reason I bot it was my Carfax search told me it had spent its first 10 years in Kentucky (which meant it had a good chance of little rust) and was maintained by an MB dealer in Cincinnati, and there were alot of maintenance entries. I paid $500.
So I'd want to know where it had been its previous 200k miles....as in any dealer maintenance records? How much rust is there? And finally how does it ride without the rear SLS system? I wouldn't be a fan of an Eibach spring conversion. My wagon rides like a w124 sedan and I can espec feel how great the backend feels. One of my fav cars.
