I have decided to sell my 06 E320 CDI. We recently bought a 06 Sprinter RV and need to downsize the ‘fleet.’ Six vehicles for three people is too many for us. I am the third owner. The original owner sold it to his son. I bought it from the son. I have all repair and maintenance records. They had all maintenance and repairs done by the dealer except oil changes. I have done some repairs and maintenance myself and had some done by an independent shop in Portland. Friends say, “It looks like a new car.”

The only issue right now is an intermittent loss of turbo power which resets after restart. This has occasionally led to CEL Code 2015. I have cleaned the EGR several times, and this summer also cleaned the intake cooler, and mixer tube. But the problem has come back. The Indy shop’s diagnosis is that it needs new swirl flap motor, EGR, and software update for $1400. I don’t have the time or desire to do any more crawling on my back right now (to replace swirl motor). I’m getting too old and the garage is getting too cold for that.

Local and Portland dealers have offered $3500. A consignment dealer in Portland is willing to take it on ($1000 fee) and list it at $7900 (with EGR, swirl motor repairs done). Before I take that step I thought I’d see if there’s anyone here who is interested in it and willing to take on these repairs. My asking price is $5500.

Car is located in Astoria, Oregon (two hours west of Portland). I am willing to bring it to Portland area to show to serious buyers.
