1985 300CD for sale $6000 is going to be reserve
It is a customers car that I'll be putting on ebay over next day or so. Car is showing under 130k miles. Looks like it got a new, good paint job (gold) over past few years (pre 2014 when current owner purchased it). I've been maintaining the car since Feb 2014 and have performed a lot of preventive maintenance work on it. Also the a/c blows cold and it is running Rollguy's kit with the Sanden compressor and a p-flow condenser. Car starts in an instant cold and drives/runs out good. Seeing what good money good condition 300CDs bring these days I feel that $6000 is a deal. Being a southern car there is no rust. Let me know if there is any interest on here before posting.

Looks very nice! I am tempted even though another car is the last thing I need. The dent under the rear window is in a tough place to repair and in a panel that is welded in from the front door to the tail light.
I feel sort of naked without a 123. I still have a load of parts for them.

Met the new owner in Macon today where he and his wife had taken transport from Atlanta airport using shuttle. They had flown in from NJ with plans to drive back to Newark. He was thrilled when he saw the car. I got the impression he was not used to seeing a "no rust" Georgia car. Car drives/runs out good between 70 and 80 mph so they should be fine getting back. Because of some deadline they were planning on driving all the way through with only fuel/rest room breaks. I shared the link to peachparts and invited him to check it out.

300CD now transplanted to NJ. I would have loved to see the look on the new owners friends faces when he pulled up in this thing knowing it went for $6k. It was well sold and well bought.

Those W123 coupes are solid highway cruisers, I might prefer them even over a W126 for long distance driving. Looks like it went to a good home, although Jersey winters ain’t no friend to a W123 or W126
