For Sale: 1984 Euro 300D non turbo
White with Blue cloth interior 178,889 miles w/ Manual Sunroof
Daily driver for my daughter until about a year and a half ago. (Reliable AC on a newer vehicle won out) Brought the car in from Germany in 1984. EPA and DOT'd at that time. Body: pretty good, not a ton of rust like you see on a lot of these cars. Ding on the right rear fender near the outside of the tail light. See pic. Engine: Ran good until it wouldn't start after it sat for 6 mos., that was a year ago. Turns over, but does not start. Think it is a fuel pump, but unconfirmed. Did a mini mechanical resto 9 years ago when I bought it back from my mother in 2010. Fixed the leak from the front fender into the front floor board at that time, has started back again. New seal and oil pan Brakes Front wheel bearings Hood pad Breather hose Primer pump Flushed fuel system, all new filters and hoses. New windshield, new rear ws gasket Alternator New window sweeps New belts New radiator and water pump New ball joints and sway bar linkages New drive bearing and center support New rear axles Done at various times over the last 9 years. Included: 1983 240D 4 speed manual parts car that goes with the package. Ran when I bought it, haven't started it in 3 years. A set of cloth front seats and a cloth seat back, no bottom. The spring is broken in the drivers bottom seat on the 1984 300D. Also included, various rubber pieces, dash light bulbs, fasteners, etc. Sunroof wind deflector. $2000 Greensboro, NC Shoot me a PM with any questions, thanks for looking. |

It should be easy to get started. Probably just glow plugs. Is the battery good?
