This is a fine example of a Mercedes W114. This is the gas model with a straight six 2.8L engine, so it has some decent pick up as opposed to the diesel models. It has been garaged its whole life, and is all original. No rust. The seats don't have any tears, and the dash is near flawless. The upholstery is perfect. 107xxx original miles, the odometer has only rolled over once, and you can tell by how it drives - it clearly still has great compression. The paint is original, but does have some blemishes as one could expect (as the pictures reflect). It comes with the original Becker radio, which alone is worth $500. The AC system holds pressure, but does need to be charged (who needs AC in the PNW?). Heater blows nice and hot. I have fixed all oil leaks, and believe me, that was a royal pain. The front main seal still leaks a tad, but I'm not going to do that again. I'll throw in the seal, however. All gauges work. It comes with the original owners manual and literature, as well as a surplus of spare parts. I'll even throw in the carburetor tuning devices. Has collector plates, so no registration fees! I bought this car from a Mercedes enthusiast who collects them (like myself), but I have too many cars and really need to downsize. Many repairs have been done over the past few years. The only thing that does not work is the clock, but I have a few spare ones that I will throw in. Here are those repairs that come to mind:

Within past couple months:
new thermostat and hoses, replaced thermostat housing, fresh coolant
valve adjustment
oil filter
air filter
alignment
new front oil seal and crank ring (still leaks a little)
tuned and synced carburetors
new exhaust hangars
replaced distributor cap and spark plug wires
new spark plugs
new speedometer cable
replaced front dome light housing


Within past 2 years:
rebuilt transmission
new tie rods
new exhaust
new diff fluid
brakes
