FS: 1987 300SDL California car

3 Attachment(s)
$1800 or offer. 1987 300SDL. Car is in reasonable condition for its age. It is my friend's car, here is the disclosure as far as I know.

Conditions:

1) Engine is smooth and tranny shifts good. #14 head. Can be driven anywhere.
2) Rust free SoCal car
3) Paint is original factory paint
4) ODO stopped at 220K a year back
5) Tires are OK but will need replacement soon.
6) A/C works
7) Interior is fair but is very acceptable.
8) Runs on WVO/gas blend on occasions. Mostly on diesel.

It is a good car but don't raise your expectation too much for a 33 years car. Expect to spend some money and sweat. Will NOT ship.

Age does not matter here ;)

So needs seat covers and paint?
Does it have the wvo thing installed?

Paint is factory original in good condition. I don't know the condition of the actual seat. My friend put a cover on, so assume it is not perfect. No wvo heater or gear has ever been installed. They just run wvo/diesel/gas blend whenever they have wvo. Otherwise diesel.

In your opinion does running some wvo hurt the engine in generall?

My opinion and my opinion alone. The answer is NO. However it is a bit complicated than that with quality of wvo, cold start, single vs dual tanks, viscosity etc which may affect the engine. Running a gas/diesel blend is another option. Personally I wouldn't hesitate to buy a car ran on wvo if the price is right.

Price reduced to $1500.

OK, so I don't get it. You said assume money spent and sweat, but all I see are cosmetic issues. I live thousands of miles away, not sure if it's a great deal or a horrible way to get a taste of the Death Valley.

Seems like the clear coat is peeling from the roof, but it may be just the picture.
