I'd like to find an extremely nice 300E/E320 or 400E/E420 sedan. Price is (almost) no object for the right car. Any leads appreciated.

To the ends of the earth? I want to find a near-perfect sedan and I understand that will require far more effort than scanning my local (Chicago) craigslist.

Would you consider a good candidate that needs a paint job? I ask because I've got a nice low mileage 1995 E420 that just needs paint and it would be about as close to perfect as you can get. It's a Special Edition as well, including refinished Special Edition wheels and a spare set of 8 hole alloys, too. Mechanically very good, too.
