1986 Mercedes 560SEL 24k Miles
 

1986 Mercedes Benz 560 SEL Anthracite Gray Metallic (DB 172) with Palomino (274), 24k miles. Two owner car - exceptionally well preserved through the years - always stored in a climate controlled environment - paint, chrome, rubber seals, trim and leather are in impressive condition. Recent service - oil and filter change, air filter and battery. Everything is functioning properly from the clock to the cruise control to the dash illumination. It is still riding on its original Continental Super Contact tires which is a testament to the originality and low mileage. Will be sold with all original manuals, data card, 3 keys, unused first aid kit, tool roll and spare tire.

Would be at home in any MB collection and a piece to be proud of owning.

Change out the tires please. They are death traps. Way over priced.

I am not actively driving the car so they will stay on - if the next owner wishes to drive the car they should be replaced.

This is a for sale post by me of my car - not an opinion post of what you think the car is worth - does not hurt my feelings but is not a constructive comment.

I am well versed in the market and know what is out there and what this car is - if someone can do better by all means also you do not have to buy it.

I can blow smoke up your rear end all day, like most members did here, but it is not going to help you to sell the car. On the other hand you only need one sucker comes along to suck it up at your price.

I believe the positive comments from the fellow members are due to the fact that to see an 560SEL in this condition/mileage is a treat for any MB enthusiast

On the price - serious and reasonable offers will be considered as I would like it to go to a good home and that is of greater significance to me than the money I get for it.

Nice car! One suggestion on the picture showing the miles - I would try to take a picture without the last digits of the odo and trip partly turned like that. At least on the 124, they have a tendency to do that when they aren't working correctly.

A car is worth what someone is willing to pay, if you’re not willing to pay move on and keep your opinions to yourself. IMO
Everyone of my 124 odometers has failed at the 123k mark, so predictable that as my my newest car passed 123875 it failed on the way to the shop to have it preemptive restoration on it
I would be a great home for this car, however, I might be living by myself if I got it ... wife thinks I have a car problem

Take it to Cars and Bids or Bring A Trailer. While I question whether either venue would support your asking price, it would sell well in either one, most likely more on BaT. This is definitely not the place for high dollar cars - it's a totally different market.
