Hey guys I have up for sale my 1983 Mercedes 300SD W126. These cars are getting harder to find in decent shape and not all rusted out. ***READ POST!*** **SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY** **TRADES WELCOME.** Car is located in the Bay Area, CA

Pros:

-Currently registered!

-NO SMOG NEEDED EVER!

-All 4 corners have new brakes and rotors.

-Paintwork is in fantastic condition for being 38 years old!

-Rubber seals are also all in great shape. Car has been garaged for most of it’s life. No leaks at all.

-newish battery. Very expensive.

-Original owners manual

-All 4 tires are in good shape.

-original floor mats

-New power antenna mast.

-Aftermarket radio that was installed back in 2001. All speakers work.

-The engine ALWAYS starts. It runs great! Cruise up and down the freeway. Taken this car to SF plenty of times. Runs great! Nice and smooth.

-Leather interior. Power seats work.

-Electric sunroof works.

-Power antenna mast button works up and down.

-All power windows work!

-Valve cover gasket replaced.

-New fuel filters.


Cons: It’s 38 years old. There will be cons lol.

-Driver seat is worn. Power functions work. The leather is just tired.

-A/C needs to be charged. It does work and it does work very well. I just haven’t driven it much lately (5th car) to mess with it. A/C compressor has been replaced and it functions just fine.




That’s it. This car is VERY good starting point for a FULL restoration or just to daily. I will try and be as honest with you as I can be. I’m Asking $7,000 OBO. Will listen to all REASONABLE offers. TRADES For a diesel truck or other pre smog cars Preferably! NO JUNK! Hmu with ANY reasonable trade and we will see. Thanks!

It has 200k miles. I have a small folder of maintenance work. I can assure you that it is mechanically sound. I would drive it across country.
