1985 300D sedan
 

I have an 85 silver sedan with Burgundy interior that I picked up a couple years ago for my daughter to drive in high school. Its her current daily driver, but she is headed to college next month and doesn't want to take it with her. Odometer is around 290K. New exhaust, calipers, pads, master cylinder, motor mounts and axles in the last 15K along with all the other regular maintenance items. It also has a kenwood head unit with hands free calling and bluetooth.
Transmission shifts well, cold AC and working monovalve. I set it up for her to drive anywhere, which she did. It has some dents here and there from deer and life, but is pretty solid.
She did allow it to run hot back in the spring and since then it seems to lose a little coolant and has higher coolant pressure than I would like, but it still runs fine.
Due to the overheating incident I would let it go for $2K. She has put about 3500 miles on it since the overheating so it might go a long time, but it certainly doesn't sound as good as it did before it overheated.
I have a good running extra engine I would let go for additional $$. Location is middle TN. She is gone to work already this morning, but I will try to get some pictures when she returns.

The rust shown on fender is the worst on the car. I brushed it and painted it with por 15 to slow it down.

Surely someone needs this car. How about $1500?
