'73 200D / Free to a good home! Long Island,NY

My friend has a 73 200D that is good for parts. Body a bit rusty, many good parts, yellow, great interior, grille, wheels, blaupunkt, etc. Motor doesnt turn from what i've heard.

European model. New York State pre 74 had transferrable registrations/no separate titles, it has been off the road for many years. Friend's father brought it over from the other side. A bit of a family heirloom, of sorts. Some NOS tune up parts in orig boxes included.

Dont let it get crushed. Contact Larry Kramps at 516-378-1573. Car in Baldwin, NY.

It's ugly...

- Bright yellow
- The "200" rusted off.
- Fender bases are rusty.
- Floors & rockers gone.
- There is a small hole in the windshield.
- The inside of the engine is a pile of rust (cam is totally gone).
- The cloth/vinyl interior is intact but there is evidence of rodents.

The bumpers are euro, as are the headlights & the becker radio. The grill frame is nice.

I paid him 75$ for the whole car.

I'll be walking off with the interior, radio, the hubcaps (anybody want bright yellow hubcaps ?), transmission, the carb, the cylinder head (well, maybe), the headlights, bumpers and factory trailer hitch.

The rest gets scrapped on Monday.

Good Show!

I'm glad you guys made a deal, and I'm glad you found some useful parts.

I did see a photo of the car and you said it, the car is downright ugly.
