Anyone in New England want an '85 300TD?
 

I'll let it go for a good price. About 220k, see picture at:

I have the exact car and was wondering about:

1. Price?
2. Condition?
3. Oil usage
4. Rust
5. Acceleration

1. Price - I will take any resonable offer. I have had it advertised for a while at $2800, and while I had some interest, it hasn't sold.

2. Condition - It is in good condition. It starts and runs well (even in winter). Needs front brakes. (see rust below)

3. Oil Usage - I don't know the answer on how many miles before it needs a quart, but I drive it 400 miles a week, and I don't think I add oil monthly... It doesn't smoke except on hard acceleration.

4. Rust - There is a spot on the driver side rear door, and a hole in the passenger side rear floor board where the emergency brake harness attaches. Also minor rust in the ususal places.

5. Acceleration - I have had no problems with acceleration. A bit slow off the mark, but snaps your head back when the turbo kicks in.

Nobody interested in this fine automobile?
