1984 300d needs new home. Great cond.
 

I know yall are thinking I'm a used car dealer or something but I'm really not. I work at a salvage yard and I have the opportunity to purchase many diesels. I bought this 84 300d from a friend who has a garage. He replaced the engine and the people never came after it. It had been sitting for about 3 years when I bought it. I recently got the paperwork to get it liscensed and titled. My wife thought she wanted to drive it. But the conversion from a late model mini van to a 84 diesel wasn't a smooth one. Anyway this car is in really great shape. Compared to my 190d this car will fly. The only thing I know wrong with it is the a/c needs charged. I will be glad to email photos. If I can figure out how I will post them. Would like to get $2500.00 out of it. 230k just chaged oil, serviced trans and changed fuel filters and hoses and replaced valve cover gasket. Might be OK price, but very, very dependent on the condition of the entire car ... as you know, even small things can be very, very expensive to fix.

Can you give me a rundown on condition by area and send some photos along?

Will be later in the week before I can get photos. Theres really not anything I can think of wrong with the car other than mentioned above. The dash is cracked and the woodgrain on the glove box and above the heater have fallen off. Absolutely no rust and seats and carpet are in pretty good shape. Tires are good and drives great. Runs like a scalded dog after get a few rpms. Thanks for replies. Keepem comin.
