1992 400E's and 500E's came from the factory with R134a.
The 300E's (3.2) and 300E 2.8's got R134a from the factory in 1993. I don't know about the diesels, though.

Sounds nice, I've been looking for a 90's 300D.
Do you have any pictures you can post (or email me?) When did you convert to R-134A? Was it prompted by any other AC work? Have you had to do any major maintenance items like timing chain, glow plugs, head gasket, MAS, EHA, AC sensors, turbo, etc.? Thanks, Terry |

WARNING! I had REAL PROBLEMS with a car I bought from
this guy...no redress on extensive repairs needed to have it pass state inspection, what's more, he put a diabetic (me) behind the wheel of an unreliable car in a Texas summer for an 1,800 mile journey home.
"Primo" car bought for top dollar turned out to have a bum engine and many other problems...$4,000 worth of repair work required. BTW, his AC "fixes" bring nothing but trouble. DON'T TRUST THIS GUY! He's either ignorant, dishonest, and in any case won't chip in to make things right. Dealing with him COULD have cost me my life. |

I would consider selling mine for the right price. It is in mint condition and I have all service records from day one and I mean ALL. Everything from the window sticker to the wiper blades to oil changes.
