1990 300TE For Sale, Priced to Sell

1990 300TE, MB Tex, CD, 3rd seat. Asking $4900.00

A growing family and the need for towing is forcing the sale of my 300TE. The car has been my wife's daily mode of transport for the past 4 years. Mechanically it's in excellent condition. Everything works well, except it needs a cruise amp. All maintenance is up to date. The previous owner is a service manager at a MBZ dealership, it was his wife's car.

The car has 152,xxx miles on it. The miles are highway, as we live in rural Wisconsin, and my wife drives 40 miles to work. I'd drive it across the country tomorrow. It's tight and clean. It does have a few scratches on it, and one spot where the paint has chipped near the passenger side door (lower, on the fiberglass part). Only other damage to note is a small, quarter sized dent and scratch on the rear corner where my wife couldn't wait to get out of the garage and scraped the door.

It's not perfect, but it's a really nice, clean, solid car for the money.

We're looking at buying quickly which is why the price is what it is. Just looking to sell it quickly and move on, before I change my mind. I really love this car. Please e-mail doug.kolb@wi.ngb.army.mil , reply or call for more pictures and/or questions.

Thanks.

Have you posted an ad for this car here before? I think I remember it.
Thanks

Lightbulb Posted before?

I did post this once before, under an add where I was selling either my 300SD or the 300TE. I sold the 300SD immediately, and really wasn't prepared to sell the 300TE. I've finally gotten around to taking pictures, etc so I posted it again.

Truthfully, like the 300SD, I love this car. I just need to reduce the fleet etc.

Thanks,

Doug

Thanks

What needs to be done to be A1?

David and Jaye, I'll reply directly with more pictures tomorrow morning. My connection is really slow here at home (I live in the middle of the country as you can see from the picture ... taken from my driveway).

I've addressed all the issues... a few scratches, small paint chips, rock chip here and there, etc. Nothing mechanically, save for the tach amp. I put new tires on it last year, and they'll need to be changed within the next year, etc.

I told my wife after telling everyone about it that I wanted to keep it. She's sold on an SUV, so that's what she's going to get....

Thanks,

Doug
