FS: Mercedes 190e 16 valve EVO II

1986 190e 2.3-16 with EVO II body kit for sale. I'm relocating overseas and unfortunately have to sell my car , which I refer to as an EVO II. I have a lot invested in this car, with a 300+ hour professional body kit install and paintjob, not including the price of the Evo II body kit with sell for over $3,000. $2,500 worth of 17" x 8.5" 3 piece 5 spoke O.Z. Racing wheels that are only 18lbs each wrapped with new Yokomhama 245/40/17 tires.

Some recent service work includes:

New timing chain
All new timing chain rails
UPDATED timing chain tensioner $400
Valves adjusted
new reference sensor
new A/C compressor and dryer
new accessory belt
self leveling replaced with Koni sport shocks and racing springs with adjustable spring perches

A lot of other work has been done on the car, but this is the most recent, most important, and most expensive. Do not buy a 190e 16 valve without the updated tensioner! it's over $1.3k to install.

The overall condition of the car is excellent. The engine compartment and trunk jams were painted. The interior is excellent, with a perfect dashboard , and seats without any rips or tears. The woodgrain dash accents have been replaced with carbon fiber. I have more pieces of carbon fiber from the kit, but only installed the pieces that covered the woods trim, the rest of the pieces will come with the car.

I will have pictures available in a few days. The car has 154k miles which is very low miles per year considering it's 17 years old. The color is the original Blaushwarz metallic (blue black), paint code 199, same color as the original 500 EVO IIs. If you've always wanted a 190e with an EVO II body this is the car to buy, even if u already have a 190e 16valve, save yourself the time and aggrevation. These body kits are really conversions, requiring a lot of time and money to make look right.
I have about $20k invested. I'm not expecting to get nearly that for it. I will work with you to have the car shipped also, but can't pay for the shipping costs. I'm located near Hartford, CT. Please email me at . $10k obo.
