FS: Nice '91 300E
 

I've decided to sell my 1991 300E. It has 142K on it and it's a Texas car, so there's no rust anywhere. It's Astral Silver with Gray leather interoir. It's bone stock too.

I have all the books and records, even the origional window sticker. In the last 20K it's had all the things replaced that break/wear out such as, radiator, water pump, belts, hoses, alternator and the A/C has been rebuilt and converted to 134. As far as I know, the evaporator hasn't been repalced. The head was also rebilt when the headgasket was replaced.

The only things wrong are: RR wheel bearing is starting to make noise, the center vents don't work properly amd the timing chain cover leaks. All pretty standard stuff.

The body is very nice. It appears to have been re-painted at some point, but it looks like a factory job, not Maaco. The interior is nearly flawless. The dash is perfect and the only real flaws are the armrest is pretty worn/cracked and there is a 2" crack in the front of the driver's seat. The Becker radio works and sounds really good.

Tires are Michelin Rain Force and have about 50% tread left. I have driven over a dozen 124's and for some reason, this is the best riding one I've ever been in. No squeaks and rattles, just smooth and quiet.

Why am I selling? January is my wife and my 25th anniversary. She want's some new bedroom furniture, so Im going to sell the Benz, take the cash and buy the furniture.
