E320T 4 sale guys (modded) :)

Heys guys after a discussion with my wife I can no longer keep my E320T. She says I have too many projects. And if I proceed with the current one I need to sell two of my cars. Most of you have seen my post about this car a few times. I have placed it on autotrader.com also. If you guys have any questions or want to pass this info along to others not on the forum that would be appreciated. I have a few links to share. Email, phone, or PM.

1994 E320T
All records since new.
The car is located in the Atlanta Area
~128K milles now

Price is OBO of course. Not really looking to Ebay it. The pics are not updated with the full tinted windows, (additional uograde) suggested by fellow members. A few pics are included in the post I have more pics if anyone needs them e-mailed

Great looking car. I just sold mine. I miss it. I got $9k for mine and it had 174,000 miles.
Good luck!

cj750rock, hey thanks for the compliment. I saw your car in a post, it is (was very nice). Thanks for the encouragement also.
Hopefully a member/enthusiast will snap it up.

That is one sweet car. I think it looks way cool.
If I didn't have an SD sitting around for sale, I might just convince my wife that I need to buy your car....
Just one question, what kind of wheels are those? Are they 18 inch Lorinsers?
Thanks, Bob Roe

Ebay

Don't ebay it. I did it and only thing I got was a guy who wanted to pay 5k for mine. Yeah..... right!
Are you sure you want to sell it? I do miss mine ALOT! There is no other wagon you can buy (even the new ones) that will exceed the solid engineering of 124 wagons. I designed a MBZ facility here in california and the MBZengineers have told me that pre 1997 MBZs, E320s, 420s and S500s are the best MBZs ever. So, think twice. Hey, maybe I will buy yours (my wife will kick my ass).

I agree that these 124 wagons are sweet. My 177 hp M103 keeps me from speeding "all" the time. But I drive very briskly most of the time.
I haven't driven an M104 wagon yet, so I can imagine what variable valve timing and 0.2 liters more displacement would do for low end acceleration.
Although, if I could find one where someone dropped in a nice V8...

Ah, the perfect car (estate/Wagon) W124T with a V8 approximately 400hp would be great too. Oops I forgot a 6 speed tranny from the likes of BMW (850csi) no doubt!. I'm rambling guys. I sent an e-mail to you(cj750rock) I need your e-mail address to send the pics.

Actually the new E500 4matic wagon looks pretty nice. $60K MSRP though ...
I have yet to drive a new E class, but they do *look* very cool.
When they depreciate enough to make a used one affordable, I'll see whether they are reliable enough to even want ...
The 124 wagons are great though, and a fraction of the cost of a new one. Not crazy about the newer E320 (W210?) 1996-2003.
Unless someone finds an E55 wagon. They sold them in Europe. My thinking is, go for the V8, and lots of stuff will bolt in place if you want to spend the money to make it fast.
The new E500 wagon might be reliable, we hope.

crazy for W124s

Always admired your wagon Cardude.

Being a wagon addict I'd buy it as a daily driver if I hadn't picked up a cabrio a few months back.

I can't get as excited about the newer 210 wagons. Had a new 211 E500 to drive for a while, sport package and all. Left me with the feeling that Mercedes somehow feels the need to out-Lexus Lexus. I suppose thats what the buyers want, polite door chimes and lipstick-case dashboard graphics.

On the other hand the last Lexus LS430 i drove (with the "sport "suspension) felt like a big MBZ.

Hammer Wagon: Thanks and of course your wagon is one of the nicest around. I took a look at your album at the yahoo site. Pretty impressive stable of cars past and present. I would love to drive the Hammer Wagon. I have another link for more pics of the car. There is a motorcycle in a few of the pics, so try to ignore it.

Thanks for all the help guys.
