1983 300sd For Sale
I'm still actually in the "debating on selling" phase but with the weather getting bad here in the Midwest, I've been using the ML320 as the daily steed so the 300SD might be up for grabs. Here is some info on it:
EXTERIOR: 930 Silverblue Metallic. Good condition overall, a bit of a slight scrape on the left rear and right rear doors from careless drivers (I used to park it on the street where I lived) but very solid body. One small spot beginning to show rust by the RR wheelarch. Paint is fair, Florida car so it's slightly sun bleached. INTERIOR: Navy blue leather. Again, fair condition, some small tears but very serviceable. Remember, this is a daily driver! Blue dash has typical cracks, wood trim decent. ENGINE: Fantastic condition. Does not use or leak ANY oil!!!!!!! It has a block heater but I've rarely used it. Oil changed every 3K, valves adjusted every 15K, fuel filters every 15K. New oil cooler lines and motor mounts. When I bought the car in May of 2002 I put new glow plugs in, a new water pump, new belts, changed ALL fluids and filters, adjusted the valves, etc..etc...I run Red Line DFC every fourth tankfull. TRANNY: Also fantastic condition. No slipping at all, perfect shift points. Nice and smooth. Coming up on 30K fluid and filter change which I will do before sale. BRAKES: Recently did the front pads, rotors and sensors, repacked bearings. Also put in new rear pads, put on four new flex hoses and changed brake fluid. TIRES: Michelin Energy MXV4s which are a year old and have approximately 30K on them. HVAC: The heat works great. New monovalve insert last winter. I redid the A/C system (new manifold hose, expansion valve, receiver/drier, switches, converted to 134a, etc..). Works great. OTHER: The power windows, power seats, sunroof, Becker radio, etc..all work properly. The central locking system needs a new vacuum supply pump so I disabled it for now and just lock/unlock the doors individually. WHAT IT NEEDS: The RR control arm needs to be replaced (new used one included with car). The rear shocks also need to be replaced. I have a brand new set of Bilsteins in the trunk waiting installation when the control arm is done. Rest of suspension is fine. Alignment is in spec. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. We took it to Florida last summer, up to Michigan, etc...Lots of long trips, hence the 30K miles racked up in a little over a year. I still don't know if I want to sell for sure, but I'd probably take $3,500 for it. E-mail me for pics.

Total Miles?
You did not mention the miles on the car. Any history of body damage? Can you email or post pix?
