1979 300SD (W116) with approx. 140,000 miles. Metallic brown exterior (repaint) with bamboo tex inside. This car was my daily driver for 2.5 years. I am selling because I purchased a more updated Benz. The car pulls strong and I had the transmission rebuilt (not swapped out) March of 2003. The car has some issues but is 100% dependable. I am selling the car for $3000 FIRM. I will sell the car and the following list of parts for $3500 Firm. New rear window seal, used driver side rear window regulator, used interior b-pillar piece, new material for the rear dash, used rear material for rear dash to use as a template, rust free front driver and passenger side doors with glass, one used foglight, used oil cooler, new upper and lower oil cooler lines, new differential mount, new trail arm bushings, new rear subframe bushings, used uncracked dashboard with good wood. The car also has a new blower motor installed about 3 months ago. I also had the steering wheel lock up on me so there is a whole new ignition key set up with one key for the whole car. I was not planning on selling this car as you can see from the parts list. However, an opportunity presented itself and I could not say no so the old diesel has to go.
