How to raise shift points ?
Anyone have any idea on how to raise the shift points on my 95 TE? It really shifts out of low sooner than I like. Any solutions ???

For part throttle shift points, adjust the Bowden cable to the trans. For full throttle shift points, that requires valve body mods, I believe...

Try tightening (screwing in the adjuster) for the throttle valve cable, do about 1 turn, then roadtest.

I adjusted the cable and it worked just perfectly, and did exactly what I wanted. Thanks to all.
