Can 124T be lowered successfully?
Please help I have fitted Sportline springs and swaybars all round but the rear sat too high, so I lengthened the adjusting rod and bleed the levelling valve this lowered the car by about1" but it now feels very soft and floaty at the rear. I appreciate that the correct adjustment is with the 125kg load and link holes aligned but wont this simply lift the car back to its original height? Is the Sportline rear hydroshocks the only way to lower correctly? Does the E36T use the same hydros, does anybody know a cheaper source then the 5 star casino ( dealership) ? Regards Linds

One of the techs at Eibach has a lowered W124 T. I believe he has 1 bump pads front and rear.

Hi there Eibach in the UK will no longer supply lowering springs for SLS cars because of the handling issues caused by the SLS system? The spring pads make no difference to a SLS car because the Hydro shocks lift the car to the original height. After adjusting the height sensor to lower the car the damping pressure appears to low at higher speeds giving a mushy RangeRover/Caddilac type ride Yuk this is the problem, Linds
