129 Sl60 Wheels On E500
 

Hi there can anyone tell me if the 129 AMG 2 piece wheels will fit the E500 ok I plan on using 245/40 18 front tyres and 275/35 18 rears Ihave tried the rims on the car without tyres and the front looks fine but the 10" rears look very close to the edge! Any advise appreciated the 17" limited ed wheels look way too small for those lovely fenders! > > Linds

Yes, they will. 129 wheels are a direct bolt-on for any 1991-1994 500E or E500 of the 124 chassis.

They do fit but depending on your taste, they may appear to stick out too far. The R129 can actually accomodate slightly more width then a 500E but in terms of rubbing, the SL 2-piece are not a problem.

Yep...no problemo on the 18" AMG SL 2 piece rim on a lowered 500E...I run the same tire sizes as your post. :)

Here's a better shot of the 10" rim on the rear on a non-lowered E500 ...mates up perfectly under the fender.

my friend has SL2s on his 500e and it rubs in the rear with passengers on the 18x10s and with PS1-275s

his MS id is captruff if you want to ask him about it.
