Driving on the freeway last night with a buddy of mine, and here comes this nice looking MB jeep passing us on the left. We noticed that it was a MB, but we've never seen this model before. It was dark, and all we made out was something like "M500". Is this the new Geladenwagon or something?? Was this a grey market import?? It looked almost like a Range Rover, but it was definitly a MB. I've never seen this model before, but I heard something about a new jeep, and it costing somewhere around $120K. Anyone know what i'm talking about???

You want to see bad-to-the-bone best in the world 4x4? Go to eurotruck-importers.com. And yes, it is a Mercedes (of course). Personally, I love mine.

G-Wagen

There is some good news on the G-class. There is a very good chance that M-B USA will be importing the G directly for sale at its dealer network. It should happen within the next year. If we get really lucky we will see not only the 300 hp V8 G500 but the G400cdi V8 turbo diesel which has more torque for less money.

I always thought MB should have brought the G Wagon to the US themselves as a us model years and years ago.

I guess that with ford, Toyota, and the other suv makers coming out with several different suv's to choose from, MB has decided its time for the G.

I have always loved the G-wagens. I think its better looking than any SUV out there, has timeless styling, and its a benz, which of course as we all know makes it that much more delicious.
