Hi guys.
My car (97'E320) is currently undergoing a Lorinser makeover, but I'm really curious if the Lorinser exhausts sound good or not. Anyone have any info?

Chuck

I've heard a Lorinser cat-back exhaust on Benzmac's ex-16v. It sounded pretty darn good on that little car. Much better than the typical Remus on a M103 300E sound...

Hope this helps...Lee

I believe the Lorinser sounds very deep and throaty. My AMG is barely noticeable. I wish I had a Lorinser.

Thanks for the replies guys..
The exhausts does sound nice, but a little quiet than I thought. A friend told me that exhaust systems need some time and miles for the real sound to kick in. Hope that is true.

Yeah, my BMW OEM exhausts usually needed 5-7K, and my AMG exhaust has needed about 19K to get a nice sound, autocrossing has helped it.

I imagine a full track day would really help the exhaust burn in (as well as seat the rings) - perhaps "The Ring" is the right place. Next car will have to be euro-delivery!

Hi guys..

It's been a couple of weeks now since I got my exhaust, and they are really starting to get louder. I put about 1000 miles since I got them. It has a low rumble at idle and like Kevin said, the sound is very deep and throaty.

I've driven my friend's '00 E320 wagon
tuned by Lorinser, and the sound is
actually very nice & throaty & non-intrusive.
I love it! The Lorinser exhaust system is
very sporty and the sound is nice too!

Any one would know how much the Lorinser exust would cost for 300CE?
