I HAVE A FRIEND WHO HAS A C43 AMG WITH A MUFFLER THAT CRACKED AT THE PRIMARY MUFFLER SINCE ITS UNDER WARRANTY HE WILL GET A WHOLE NEW EXAUST SYSTEM (NOTE TO SELF: MERCEDES SHOULD HAVE A 15 YEAR WARRANTY) SO ANYWAY, HE WILL SLIP THE DEALER A 50 SPOT FOR THE OLD MUFFLER SO, WITH A LITTLE FABRICATION I CAN PUT IT ON MY CAR. IS THIS A BAD IDEA, WILL IT CREATE TOO LITTLE BACK PRESSURE??
THESE EXAUST TIPS ARE REALLY COOL! BY THE WAY MY FRIENDS CAR SOUNDS AWSOME WITH NO MUFFLER, WOW!

Sorry I can't answer your question, but I think you should try the exhaust on your car. I am in the process of getting a new muffler and I don't have one on right now. I have a 190E. Is this bad for the car? Is it ok that I am driving around without one? Thanks,

scott,
it wont hurt your car but it will cause a decrease in horsepuwer until you have a new exaust installed, im worried that the muffler i want to put on will not create a tuned backpressure to make the car run properly so im looking for a professionals opnion. thanks, adam
