'94 SL600 Temp
HI. Im, new to this forum and I appreciate that it is here.
Does anyone know what the operating temperature range should be for a '94 SL600 with 109k miles? Thanks! |

The upper side temperature can be most anything based on many variables; state of your radiator; mixture ratio of your coolant/water; aux fans operation; VFC operation to name the main 'players'. All of these contribute to keeping the engine temperature in a reasonable range. My S500 cpe operates between 85C to 98C (w/ A/C on) depending on the weather and driving method. 96 Sl600
My dads 96 SL600 typically operates at about 80* celsius without the air conditioning to about 100* celsius with the AC on. As JimF said, it also has alot to do with many different variables, so with an almost new cooling system and Sacramento heat (about 100* fareinheit) I get what I consider to be normal operating temperatures.
