I've turbocharged my 190E 2.3-16V by Mosselman. it uses a Garret T3 turbo, but my q is I want to use a Blitz blow off valve I bought it already, but is it better to have the BOV mounted between the turbo and intercooler? Or between the intercooler and Throttle body? Or does it really matter? TIA.

If I remember right, you will want to mount the blow off valve as close to the throttle body as possible. This way, when you slam the throttle closed, it will respond quicker. There is one problem, if you blow off air that has already been metered, the mixture will get really rich and cause a stumble. You might want to see where 911 turbos place their blow off/bypass.

300CEguy's correct as far as mounting location is concerned. The BOV should be mounted as close to the throttle body as possible. However, for low boost application w/ a small turbo (Mosselman's case) it won't really matter where the heck you mount the BOV. Yes, the fuel mixture gets rich when you let off and the BOV open vents, but the car should not stumble. Hopefully, it'll just shoot a NICE flame out the back =)

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I spoke to other boards concerning turbo's and they told me the same thing. I'm going to borrow my friends G-tech pro meter next week, hopefully I can get some accurate readings with it. I'll post my results. Later.
