EGT Sensors/Gauges

I am looking for a good exhaust gas temperature sensor to put in right before a turbocharger. Does anyone have any recomendations? Greddy seems to have a cool gauge system with a warning light built in for high EG temperatures. Who else makes good gauges/sensors for EGT?

Go over and check out the diesel discussion. We talk about pyrometers and whatnot often (for those of us with turbo motors).

I use ISSPRO because they are made 20miles from my house and I can get a deal. Good stuff if you can get it.

Compare total cost for gauge, sensor, wiring, and sensor mounting adapter.
Some gauges are sold separate from the sensor, and the sensor costs more than the gauge.

I got an autometer Z-series, same color scheme as factory gauges, with sensor, wiring, clamp mount and threaded insert mount on eBay for under $100 delivered. It was brand new as advertised, but you are taking a risk when buying eBay.
VDO is the factory gauge supplier, I believe the best match would be their "cockpit" line. There is also a "vision" line which looks like cockpit during the day, but is illuminated through the gauge face at night. I'd have probably bought VDO cockpit if I hadn't found the autometer on eBay for $85+freight.
http://www.egauges.com/ carries many brands, and you can shop there to find out what you want, then look around for price comparison before ordering. (nobody wants to be the fool who bids above egauges pricing on eBay)

Does anybody know if any of the autometer pillar mounts are a good fit on W201?
