300td exhaust

i'm looking for info on exhaust, a little less dron (is that a word)
a larger pipe would this help? any info on 300 79-85

The stock exhaust shouldn't sound unpleasant or "drone". Take a long look under the car at the length of the exhaust. Check the resonator and the muffler. Look at all the hangers. You might find that something isn't right that may solve the undesired exhaust note.

thing that is easily overlooked is the rubber thingie that screws up into the body near the back of the car. if it is missing and you dont know it is supposed to be there you prob wont realize it. then the exhaust could ride up and vibrate against the rear valance.

there may be these things at the other places the donuts are attached too.
