Help me locate a kit for the turbo add on for a 190E 2.3-16. I want one that is used or taken off a car or something. I just don't want to spend $4,000.

Do you have the name & address or website for the British company that makes a good turbo kit for the 2.3-16? They sell it for around $4,000. This isn't an answer to your question, but if you find a used kit ask if they have two!

190 Turbo is at http://www.tdi-plc.com, dont know if they have used onesbut they might know someone that has.

Just an idea, but on the $4000 budget, I'd almost wonder if you'd be better off building a kit since the 16v has less electronic hurdles to work around than say...a 500E. I'd start with a turbo from a Mitsu Eclipse. (cheap, lots of aftermarket development, plentiful) Its a similar displacement/configuration motor so the size should be about right. You could also probably borrow the innercooler. You'd need to custom the exhaust manifold but its a start.
