Lets hear it from all the spring cutters out there
Lets hear who is running stock suspension springs that have been cut or modified to lower the COG, and experiences. Specifically the older models like 107, 116, 115, 123, and 126 with semitrailing arms in rear. There are and have been lowering springs made specifically for these vehicles, but not very common to find these days.

I am LOWERED with Ventura springs from the UK -
On my 1980 w123 230 European Sedan (The 2005 w203 230 American Sedan is stock...) YES - it chews the rear tires...rotation is a MUST...I have had no luck getting Kmac adjustable rear bushings to help - even talking with their reps at SEMA in 2006... Jake |

I lowered my '87 560SEL by cutting one loop off the springs. Works just fine and feels about the same as my H&R lowered 560SEC. Since the H&Rs and stock springs are the same diameter wire (16mm, I think), then the spring rates should be very similar. I haven't counted the coils on the cut springs and the H&Rs, but if they're the same, the spring rate will be the same.
