If you are using financing, most banks use NADA, here is the link, http://www.nadaguides.com/.
They list the car at around $23-27k, but this is without knowing the mileage factored in. You can also get a rough guess at http://www.kbb.com/, and http://www.edmunds.com/. |

$20-30K
It would be somewhere within that range based on that mileage, number of owners, int/ext/engine condition, buying from a dealer, etc.

$31,500 asking
There is a '92 anthracite/black one here in the Charlotte, NC area that has 75k miles on it, 10 disc CD etc loaded. It has the Starmark warranty to 100k/or two years which has to be worth something, as expensive as 500E parts are. It also is in the new issue of the Star along with another 92 500E which the asking is $34,900 in CA.
Just info... TobiasMB 4 MBs |

What do you guys think of a 92 500E with 140K miles for $18K? Also have you guys seen the light purple one on Ebay? What color is that?

Does it have a complete paper file to peruse, all services done and up to date? If so, split costs with the seller to have an appraisal done by a competent MB tech.
