86 W124 300e 5-speed!

I know that one of you guys know where i can either get a used 5-speed manual tranny or get mine rebuilt for a 1986 300e. Thanks fellas!

You have a 5-speed car? Get it rebuilt; finding one is difficult unless you look in Europe.

I don't know where you live, but try a transmission shop.

I am in Greensboro, NC.......I need a shop thats experienced with rebuilding a 5-speed manual 300e transmission. Do you have any direction for me?

I don't know anybody or anything in Greensboro. You could do this, however, go to your nearest Napa store or any other of your favorites (not AutoZone or Advance), and ask them who in town is best with transmissions. Then ask him. If that guy doesn't know, ask him if he knows anybody. And so on.

Or, you could start with whoever is the best garage for MBs, and do the same process.
