Apart from looking cool would I find using a front and rear strut brace on my 2.3-16 useful? What are the pros & cons? They reduce twisting, but with my 1.25" front sway bar and upgraded rear sway bar would I notice the difference? I have Koni adjustable shocks on four corners, eibach springs up front & hyperco springs in the rear. My 2.3-16 gets a fair amount of daily use, AX maybe a half dozen times a year and I get it on a track a couple times a year.

re. Strut bars

As I inderstand it the basic idea behind the strut bar is to deal with the results of modern, wide, sticky tires. Think of it this way ..... these sticky gumballs are now stressing the upper/top of the contact point - the top of your shock/strut tower. With all of that force down (where the rubber meets the road) low there is now a tendency for flexing at the top. The strut brace is intended to reduce that flexing. Clear as mud?

You won't notice much of a difference because the benz chassis does not flex to the extent that would need a strut bar.
