M103 With No Exhaust Manifold Video....

Here's a video I found on You Tube of an M103 running with no manifold. Absolutely amazing how fast it revs with no back pressure. Looks like it has a hard time running below 1500 RPM though. I thought that was pretty bad for the engine....

Well, yeah it won't run right like that. See how hard it is to start and keep running at low rpm.

When the cooler air enters the exhaust port after shutdown it tends to stress the innards !!!

anyone else thing this thing just sounds like it came out of an old mario game or somthing? atleast that one sound it made at the beginning before it was revved?

sounds like crap w/o the manifold...embarassing actually ..not to mention bad for them valves
