HAHA, You had me going there for a second when I saw the link!
Then I clicked on it.... Looks like my work bench. Make sure you change those valve guides, you don't want to leak boost.

My mechanic reckons he should have the engine back in the car with the Turbo Technics kit installed in a week or so. Then I have to truck the car over to another shop to install & tune the Autronic ECU. I gave up on the AMG upgrades since not one thing went right from day one. I threw countless thousands of dollars at the problems and only got more problems for my trouble.
Some people might call me crazy for giving up this close to the finish line but I'm a broke and broken man and don't have the heart or money to keep fighting. Anyone else out there that wants to buy some AMG 3.6L parts can PM me. Arggh, I've just depressed myself. Need to distract myself... Clean those drain ducts while your down there, they get packed with gunk after a while. That really stinks that you weren't able to get those bottom end parts working. Did you get ahold of anyone at AMG or Brabus? I may be interested in your parts. PM me with a price and where their located.

do you still have 3.6l parts for sale? What was the problem with rebuilding your 3.6l engine? The block was shot? Couldn't it be sleeved?

I've still got the C36 rods available but I ended up using the C36 crank with some forged Oettinger pistons and Turbo Technics rods for 3.5L of displacement.

is there a thread that documents your 3.5 project? I could only find the one where you found out the c36 rods hit your block. Is the engine back in the car? Hows it run!?
