Looking for New GPS

Seems like technology has advanced a bit since I bought my Garmin III Plus GPS unit. The color displays look great and are larger too. But which is best for auto rally/racing use?

The only real problem with my Garmin, besides a smallish black & white display, was it's limit of only 3 digits in the current, average and top speed readouts. I'd really like to have 5 digits, down to 1/100 mph, but would settle for 1/10 mph

Does anyone know of a unit that can do this?

My Garmin Nuvi 350 does 10ths. The 6?? has a larger screen but I find the 350 to be big enough for my eyes. It has many super cool features and easy to navigate touch screen. I'd imagine you could get a 350 for less than $200 now on ebay.

Here is a screen that you would be interested in.

Need 4 or 5 digit display

Thanks for this info. Can you reveal if that unit will display 1/10mph above 100mph, ie, 4 digits?

Oh,,, I see! Now you want me to break the law! I just looked and unfortunately the GPS does not show tenths when it hits triple digits. Sorry, I thought it did.

Yeah, I actually looked at the max speed readout while in my office. The max speed currently reads 137. I think I did that about 6 months ago in the 500E heading to Indianapolis. I haven't reset it since I guess.
