Best you can do for your car!
Like I allways sad about K-jet...Yeah just send it to sibirijan!
Mercedes engines has allways been very high performans parts with very high quality and it make me cry why they choose K-jet for so long time! If you realy love your car and stil have a K-jet, make very big differnce for your engine character and prosperous and it doesn not take many days to fix it if you have a good support. Last week example: Mercedes benz 300CE-24. Standalone system instaling. Megasquirt MS1-extra with stock dizzy ignition this time. Parts we need: Megasquirt ECU configuring for VR sensor and Distributor ignition. (can even choose wasted spark and coil on plug) Harness 2pcs relay Fuel rail Fuel fittings Fuel regulator 6 of 250cc injectors triggewheel 36-1 VR sensor vr sensor fitting TPS sensor CLT sensor IAT sensor Air filter Simple ignition coil (mercedes coil is too low ohm for the ecu) http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/18479212.jpg We start to replace the stock damper to triggerwheel 36-1 and fit the VR sensor http://d4126198.u72.surftown.se/imag...aretrigger.JPG Then its time to take some hand with K-jet...yeah .. http://d4126198.u72.surftown.se/images/kjet01.JPG gone.... http://d4126198.u72.surftown.se/images/kjet02.JPG http://d4126198.u72.surftown.se/images/kjet03.JPG Making the fuelrail http://d4126198.u72.surftown.se/images/mattareil1.JPG http://d4126198.u72.surftown.se/images/raili10.JPG http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/17568058.jpg http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/17568059.jpg |
Then make some fuelfittings to fit them the stock fittings and Fuel regulator
http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/18099367.jpg http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/17568060.jpg Then fix a little with throttel house to fit it with aftermarket TPS sensor http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/17568061.jpg http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/17568062.jpg http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...5/17622847.jpg http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...5/17622848.jpg The plate for a wire.. http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...5/17622852.jpg Airfilter pipe with IAT sensor and CLT sensor in the water pump http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...5/17622849.jpg ECU http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/17645995.jpg |

Left to do is to fix the cables and mapping! YouTube - MB 300-24v Megasquirt first start |

An excellent post as usual. I see you are back at it. Does this mean you album is done. I have a question for you. Have you ever tried stock MB COP coils with wasted spark using the stock 60-2 tooth wheel. I want to eventually do this with my V-12, but I notice everyone seems to favor removing the MB COP for some other arrangement. The V-12 will require 2 Megasquirt ECU's or I may use some other ECU. If you don't mind sharing, what throttle position sensor is that? I've seen a few people work on these a good bit, but that went together very nicely.
All in all, it looks good as well! I have hopes that once my engine is swapped in and running, the following MS conversion will be anywhere near as well executed! |
Nice job, Roman. Great pictures, too, as usual. Too bad you live so far away!
|
Roman, excellent work! I am amazed that its so straightforward to make such a huge improvement in a car, and complements to you on your excellent workmanship!
You are a great entertainer, too! Now, if I could justify doing that to my M103.... |
Roman,
:notworthy:Beautiful work! I checked out your websites too. Do you EVER SLEEP?!!!!! |

Thanks man! yes it would be cool to go to usa some day;) Next week comes the next client to convert another 300CE-24v to Megasquirt so I will come with some new pictures becaurse it will be other kind of trigger with 3 point on the stock damper. I will show how easy to fix it under the car and no needing the triggerwheel:D |

Album does allmost done, only a few song left. This production takes some time but it is worth every minit becaurse the sound getting real crazy heavy! Yes you can run wasted spark 12cyl and 60-2 wheel with megasquirt. You only need to rebuil the ecu a little beat with 6 spark outputs and extra code. I run wasted spark to on my car with 3 spark outputs |
Thanks guys!
No we never speep here in sweden. The weather is too bad here to go to sleep:) |

John Roncallo Megasquirt is the plan in time. I want to retain the stock MB wire harness so maintaining the stock COP coils and trigger wheel would be optimal. Keep up the good work John Roncallo |
New client tired of K-jet and came to us today!
300CE-24v http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/18321405.jpg http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/18321407.jpg Time to take some things away http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/18321408.jpg http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/18321409.jpg Some new stuff http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/18321411.jpg This time we use different trigger by making 3 holes with M6 thread in the crankdamper och use 3 bolt as a triggerteeth. 120 degree between each bolt 4mm high aluminum distans and 4mm bolthead makes 8mm triggerpoints. http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/18301256.jpg http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/18246192.jpg http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/18301257.jpg http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/18301258.jpg Hall sensor and bolton fitting http://archive.pixbox.se/arkivet/syn...0/18290122.jpg |
