Euro W126?
 

I found this car at a local junkyard, and was wondering if it is a euro model? It has no badging on the rear at all...But it has the euro style climate control with the two large knobs. I was thinking about going back and getting the bumpers and mirrors.

If it has the manual ac it is most likely euro.

I'd grab those bumpers..they look like Lorinser bits.

Manual klima was never offered in the US.

It is conclusively a euro car for that reason..

You can also tell as the headlights had the wipers removed...

The Euros didn't have wipers on the headlights?

I like the bumpers, too.

Looking at the picture it was converted to US sealed beams. The wipers would not work with them. Must be a pre 1986 car...

Pilfer everything you can off that car, you'll have no toruble finding people in here who would want the stuff.

Darn, I'm pretty sure it's gone now. I actually didn't take anything from it...what are some parts that Euro's have that people want? So I know what to look for the next time I see a Euro model (pretty common here in socal).

Headlights, front dark amber corner lights, headlight wipers and wiper motors, valances, dashboard thumbwheel adjusters, Tri Y headers, taillights, trunk warning triangle, first aid kit, jerry can, fire extinguisher, hvac dash controls, LSD, fgs module,....just for starters....:D lol

PM , me if you ever see good Euro tails or Tri Ys on a W126 at a yard. I need them.

On the W123 too.
 

Some did, some didn't.

Listen up Dee8go: some W123 euros had headlight wipers on them. Rare and covetable in the USA. I have never even personally seen one of them.

I have them on my coupe. Wipers and sprayers.

Tom yours is US, US models never had them. My wagon however had them at one point but someone removed them I suspect, I have the holes in my bumper for the sprayers still.
