It increases the fuel pressure to 5 bar, its cheaper than messing with rising rate regulators and has been proven on Blown_M104's supercharged e320. Its about 85 dollars shipped off ebay.

The 5 bar aftermarket regulator really doesn't do anymore the the stock Merc regulator.
Stock range is 5.3 - 5.5 bar ( 77 - 79 psi )

I still run my original fuel pumps and stock regulator....have yet to run out of fuel at any RPM !

Two companies have successfully twin turbo'd the M103-12V, M103-24V and M104-24V, with hundreds of installs since the late eighties.
Neither has used anything then stock Merc components in the fuel delivery system

Im pretty sure the stock fpr on my M104 is 4 bar and it would run way too lean at 7 psi.

Possible the fuel pressure was lowered on the later model cars.

What makes you run lean is not neccessarily the 4 bar pressure at .48 bar boost is the amount of fuel that your ECU can deliver to the injectors.

I'm running .48 bar boost, coming in at 1500 rpm, probably making 310+ HP and 330+ lbft torque and use the stock fuel delivery system ( CIS-E on my M103-12V )
The enrichment is via two additional injectors controlled by MAP and RPM signal to a stand alone injector controller.

You need to somehow work your HFM control to enrich or use additional injector(s)

You really can't set up an accurate fuel map without a dyno.

Too easy by just using gauges to not know exactly where you are on the RPM /Fuel / Boost map and lean out and do a bit of engine damage.
